Evelyn Mildred (Kiener) Terwilliger

Evelyn Mildred Terwilliger, 86, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Friday April 14, 2023 at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. She was born on February 27, 1937 in Paterson, New Jersey to the late Richard & Mildred Connolly Kiener.

Along with her parents, Evelyn is reunited in passing with her beloved husband, John Edwin Terwilliger; their son, John; and her brother Thomas Kiener.

Evelyn was a hardworking woman with a heart of gold. She proudly worked on the assembly line for Ford Motor Company for many years. In her free time, Evelyn relished time spent with family and making memories with friends. Evelyn never met a stranger and would gladly offer the shirt from her back to any one in need. Above all else, she loved her family with her whole heart. Evelyn will forever be remembered for the amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend she truly was.

Left to cherish Evelyn’s memory are her sons, Robert (Laura) Terwilliger of Murrells Inlet & Ronald (Sonya) Terwilliger of Conway; daughters, Linda Nestor of Dingmans Ferry, PA & Lisa (David) Rosati of Conway; fourteen grandchildren; twenty one great-grandchildren; her beloved dog, GiGi; as well as a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Evelyn’s life will be held privately.
