Evangolas (Van) Earl Voutsinas, 82, passed away peacefully Sunday January 25, 2026, at his home in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Born in Syracuse, NY, Van was the son of the late Andrew Voutsinas, Sr. and Rita Voutsinas. Van loved bowling, watching football and mostly spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Van is preceded in death by his son, Kevin Stowell of Syracuse, NY; daughters, Patty Brayboy of Myrtle Beach, SC; Donna Wilmont of Syracuse, NY; brothers, Greg Voutsinas, Robert “Bob” Voutsinas and Andrew Voutsinas and their spouses.
Survivors include his son, Van Voutsinas, Jr (Amber) and two grandsons, Van III and Alec of Myrtle Beach, SC; son, Gordie Stowell of Syracuse, NY and grandson, Zach Stowell; son, Steve Stowell, Sr. (Aleta) of Michigan and two grandsons, Steve Jr. and Bryan, and granddaughter, Mindy; daughter, Michelle Stevens (Troy) and two grandsons, DJ Jones and Hunter Dudley and granddaughter, Anastasia Voutsinas; grandson, Nick Wilmot and family of NY; granddaughter, Jamie Conte and family of NY; granddaughter, Jennifer Duryer and family; grandson, Ricky Brayboy of NC; devoted son in law, Ric Brayboy along with numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Van’s Life will be held at 6:00 PM Friday February 6, 2026, at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Highway, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
