Eulon Vester Miles, Jr.

Eulon Vester Miles, Jr., 79, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Thursday July 3, 2025 while at Magnolia Bridge Nursing Home in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. He was born on January 9, 1946 in Florence, South Carolina to the late Eulon V. Miles, Sr., & Alberta Kirby Miles.

Along with his parents, Vester is reunited in passing with his sister, Sybil Coward.

Vester proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. Following his honorable separation from the military, Vester went on to work in sales for several chemical companies. Upon his well-deserved retirement, Vester was finally able to enjoy the finer things in life. In his free time, Vester enjoyed restoring classic cars to their original state, showing off said cars at car shows and tinkering with his many projects. Vester also relished time spent celebrating holidays with family and friends- especially the 4th of July! Above all else, Vester loved the Lord and also loved his wife and family with his whole heart. He will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish Vester’s memory are his adoring wife, Miriam Bellamy Miles of Myrtle Beach; son, Andy Glover and wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Gage & Haley Glover; sisters, Jennette Black and husband, Steve, Melba Caldwell and husband, Noah & Patricia Denner and husband, David; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

A Funeral Service for Vester will be held on Wednesday July 9, 2025 at 11AM at South Strand Assembly of God, 3507 US-17 BUS, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. The family will gather to greet friends at the church from 10AM until the time of service. Burial will immediately follow the service, with procession to Ocean Woods Memorial Cemetery, 2408 S Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577, where military honors will be accorded.
