Eugene Lefond Jackson

Eugene Lefond Jackson, 87, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Sunday October 12, 2025 at home in Murrells Inlet. He was born on May 14, 1938 in Marion to the late David Grady Jackson & Clara Elizabeth James Jackson.

Along with his parents, Eugene is reunited in passing with his daughter, Debra Diane Blevins; and brothers, David Jackson, Ansel Jackson & Ray Jackson.

Eugene was a hardworking man with a zest for life and a heart of gold. He was a skilled dental technician who took pride in making people smile. After a lifetime of dedication, Eugene retired from Shealys Dental Clinic. Following his well-deserved retirement, Eugene was able to enjoy the quiet life. He relished time spent making memories with family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

Left to cherish Eugene’s memory are his beloved wife, Elizabeth Lambert Jackson of the home; daughter, Loretta Dennis and her husband, Gene of Manning, SC; grandson, Harley Dennis; brother, Larry Jackson and wife, Cheryl of Florence, SC; as well as a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Eugene’s life will be held at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Highway, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 on Saturday October 18, 2025 at 5PM.
