Eric Thomas

 Donald Eric Thomas, 56, of Pawleys Island, SC, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020 in Andrews, SC with his loving family beside him. Eric was born in Georgetown, SC to Phillip Fred and Alicia Anne Thomas.

Eric was an 81 supporter and enjoyed NHRA Drag Racing, riding motorcycles and fishing. Most importantly, Eric especially loved being with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Eric was predeceased by a brother, Phillip Fred Thomas, III.

Eric is survived by his wife, Tammi Baylor Thomas of Pawleys Island, SC; one daughter, Jillian Thomas and son-in-law Naheem Monroe of Pawleys Island, SC;  three grandsons, Nash Ellis-Karter Monroe, Justice Monroe and Jossiah Monroe of Pawleys Island, SC; Brothers, Ellis “Big” Schindler of Myrtle Beach, SC, Chris and Lea Smith of Evergreen, SC, Garry and Karen Mendenhall of Loris, SC, Jennings and Holly Kincaid of Georgetown, SC, Clay and Carlette Young of Georgetown, SC, and Tory Lawson of Georgetown, SC.

Memorial donations made be made in Eric’s memory to Under the Wings of an Angel through FACEBOOK.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Lois Ethridge, Ernest and Jill Baylor, as well as Eric’s hospice nurses.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 5:00 PM at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. The Family will receive friends at Burroughs Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.

All are invited for Eric’s last ride, that will take place immediately following the service and travel to the clubhouse.
