Eleanor Anne Iredell

Eleanor Anne Iredell, 83, of Murrells Inlet, SC passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025. She was born on January 9, 1942, in Norfolk, VA, daughter of the late Thomas S. Laylor and Virginia W. Laylor.

She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-nine years, John Howard Iredell of Murrells Inlet; a son, Thomas Iredell and his wife, Debbie of Hilton Head, SC; and one granddaughter, Ellie Iredell; as well as many loving nieces and nephews of Philadelphia, Pa.

Anne worked in education and retired as a school teacher. She was a proud member of St. Philip Lutheran Church. Anne loved her Church, her God and His Son, Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

A Celebration of Anne's life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 11 am, at St Philip Lutheran Church in Myrtle Beach.

The family has requested that memorial donations be made in her name to St. Phillip Lutheran Church.
