Edward Joseph Gamble

Edward Joseph Gamble “Eddie”, age 27, of Myrtle Beach, passed away peacefully Thursday May 4, 2023 at Grand Strand Medical Center.

Born in Troy, NY, Eddie is the son of Heather E. Ciccone and Carl E. Gamble, Jr. 

Eddie enjoyed watching and playing baseball, football, and basketball. As a child Eddie played for Lansingburgh Little League. As he got older, he worked at Advance Auto Parts which sparked his interest in mechanics. Although Eddie did not have children his dog Missy was his baby, he also loved all animals. He had a very special relationship with his youngest niece Kaylani which he called “Baby girl”. Eddie also enjoyed reading books by his favorite author James Patterson.

Eddie is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandmother, Bonnie Ciccone, (Myrtle Beach, SC) and his Paternal Grandfather, Carl “Kemo” Gamble, (Troy, NY)

Survivors include his mother, Heather E. Ciccone, (Myrtle Beach, SC); his father, Carl E. Gamble Jr. (Myrtle Beach, SC); brothers, Elijah Gamble, (Green Island, NY); Travis Gamble, (Orlando, FL);  sisters, Vanessa Gamble, (Myrtle Beach, SC); Alyssa Gamble (Myrtle Beach, SC); maternal grandfather, George Ciccone, (Myrtle Beach, SC); paternal grandmother, Debra Holmes, (Philadelphia, PA); maternal uncle; Chris (Gina) Ciccone, (Rensselaer, NY); maternal aunt, Kerri Kenyon, (Troy, NY); paternal uncle, Todd Gamble (Clearwater, FL); maternal aunts, Tonya Gamble, (Albany, NY): Talia Gamble (Philadelphia, PA); nephew, Elijah Gamble Jr., (Schenectady, NY); nieces, Emma Gamble (Green Island, NY); Ella Gamble (Green Island, NY);  Arya Gamble (Green Island, NY); Kaylani Sumner, (Myrtle Beach, SC).

He was also loved by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Family, and Friends.

A funeral mass will be held 9:00 AM Saturday May 13, 2023 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Garden City, SC.  The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday May 12, 2023 at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Hwy., Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
