Dorothy Lawrence McCollough, age 93, passed away peacefully Saturday January 28, 2023 at The Palmettos in Garden City, SC.

Born in Charleston, SC, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Clarence Brailsford Lawrence and Margaret Early Lawrence. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and The Church of the Resurrection in Surfside Beach, SC. Dorothy enjoyed traveling with her husband in their motorhome and spending time with her granddaughters whom she adored. In addition to her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Bennett McCollough, Jr. and her brother, Richard Gantt Lawrence.

Survivors include her son, William McCollough of Murrells Inlet; grand-daughters, Katherine Early McCollough of Ithaca, NY; Colleen Bennett McCollough of Palo Alto, CA; sister, Mary Jean Watson of Charleston, SC and several nieces and nephews.

At this time no services will be held.
