Donna Lee Ann Jones

Donna Lee Ann Jones, age 78, of Murrells Inlet, SC, lost her battle with cancer on May 31, 2022 at her home.  She passed peacefully listening to Elvis Presley sing “I Did It My Way”.  She was surrounded by her daughters Deborah Kops, Joan Powers and Kimberly Urzua; granddaughter Isabella Urzua; and beloved nephew Gary Glueckert.

Donna was born July 28, 1943 in Dayton, OH to the late Luther and Helen (Veres) Forsyth.  In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her loving husband of 52 years Donald “Tugger” Jones and sister Mary (Forsyth) Dunn.

Donna is survived by her 3 daughters, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Sandy Perry, son-in-law Mark Powers, and cherished friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial, celebration of life, and interment of Donna and Tugger’s ashes at Calvary Cemetery will take place in Dayton, OH in the coming months.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Donna’s memory to Tidelands Community Hospice, 1600 Farrow Parkway, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
