David Savage, Jr.

David Savage, Jr., 55, passed away peacefully, Tuesday December 9, 2025, at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Formerly of Lancaster and Bucks County, PA, David was born in Meadow Park, PA the son of Tonya Savage and the late David Savage, Sr.

A member of Ducks Unlimited Lancaster, PA, and MUD of Millersville University, David was an avid hunter, hiker and fisherman.

He was a huge fan of USA Soccer, Eagles Football & the Phillies. He enjoyed reading-especially Stephen King, walking on the beach and taking selfies. David was known for telling dad jokes and long funny stories and especially giving sound advice, solicited or unsolicited.

In addition to his father, David is preceded in death by his beloved family dog, Bailey.

Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Savage; children, David Savage III and Morgan Savage; mother, Tonya Savage; brother, Matthew Savage and family dogs, Raven and Harper.

A celebration of David’s Life will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday December 18, 2025, at Burroughs Funeral Home in Murrells Inlet. The family will receive friends one hour prior to time of service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A reception following the service will be held at Riptydz Oceanfront Grill & Rooftop Bar.
