David Thomas Donahue

David Thomas Donahue, 59, of Surfside Beach, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at his residence. He was born May 24, 1966, in Swampscott, Massachusetts, son of the late, Robert Donahue and Lois Shaw Donahue.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Mark Donahue and John Donahue.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Ann Donahue of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; daughter, Audra Lavik and her husband, Damon of Hilton Head, SC; a grandson, Alex Lavik and partner, Jandy of Hilton Head, SC; a great granddaughter, Ryleigh Grace; brother, Michael Donahue and his wife, Nancy of Dover, NH; two sisters, Kimberly Murphy of Exeter, NH and Patty Bloom and her husband, Steve of Lynn, MA; as well as many nieces and nephews.

David enjoyed spending time at the beach and loved shooting—whether at the gun range or outdoors shooting skeet. 

There are no formal services planned at this time.
