Dale Lorraine Stevens, 80, of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, formerly of Gardner, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026. She was born May 22, 1945, in Winchendon, Massachusetts, to the late Robert Hill and Marie Hill.
Dale lived a life devoted to her faith, family, and caring for others. She found great joy in sharing the love of God, praying for others, and performing random acts of kindness. She especially loved crafting and spending time taking care of those around her. Dale was a faithful member of New Life Prayer Shawl Ministry, where she shared her compassion and talents with many.
Dale is survived by her beloved husband Douglas Stevens; Her loving daughters, Andrea Pena (Julio), Tina Gallant (Terry), and Nicole Giordano (Bill); seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her five beloved sisters, known affectionately as “The Bantam Girls”: Donna, Rosemary, Renee, Darlene, and Faith—each of whom she lovingly called her favorite.
She was preceded in death by her cherished grandson, Douglas James.
The family would like to extend special thanks to her primary care physician, Dr. Wanda Lowry, and the dedicated nurses, doctors, and security team at Tidelands Waccamaw Hospital for their compassionate care.
Services will be private.

Dale will be remembered for her unwavering faith, generous spirit, and the kindness she shared so freely with everyone she met. Her love and prayers touched many lives and will be deeply missed.
