Dale Michael Bowers, Sr.

Dale Michael Bowers, Sr., age 67, passed away peacefully Wednesday March 31, 2021 at Tidelands Waccamaw Hospital in Murrells Inlet.

Born in Baltimore, MD, Dale was the son of the late Philbert Nelson Bowers and Agnes Marie Bowers.  With a passion for coaching that started at the age of 17, Dale enjoyed coaching kids in all types of sports.  He was a member of the VFW Post 2462 and loved playing softball, golf, bowling and fishing. In addition to his parents, Dale is predeceased by his daughter, Holly Lynn Bowers.

Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Debbie Bowers of Murrells Inlet, sons, Dale Michael Bowers, Jr. and his wife Ashley of Maryland; Corey Lee Bowers and his wife Cassie of Myrtle Beach; grandchildren, Holly Bowers, Gage Bowers, Dante Jackson, Dylin Jackson, Isabella Bowers, Addison Bowers and Grayson Bowers; sisters, Beverly Waters and her husband Larry of Conway; Denise Johansen and her husband John of Myrtle Beach; brother, Phil Bowers and his wife Dee of Maryland; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Dale’s Life will be held at a later date with day and time to be announced.
