Daisy B. (Bowers) Grant

Daisy B. Grant, age 72, of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026 at MUSC in Charleston, SC. She was born on September 22, 1953 in Germany to the late John & Helene Bowers.

 Daisy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness and caring spirit touched everyone who knew her.

Left to cherish Daisy’s memory are her beloved fiancé, Mark Lamoureux of Murrells Inlet; daughter, Natasha Ryals, and her husband, Jeremy Ryals of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina; her grandchildren, Michelle and Emma Ryals of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina; brothers, Arthur Bowers and John Bowers both of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina; niece, Tessa Bowers of Murrells Inlet and nephew, AJ Bowers of Murrells Inlet; as well as a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

In addition to her parents, Daisy was preceded in death by her ex-husband and best friend, James J. Grant.

Daisy will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and the love she shared so freely with her family and friends. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

A Celebration of Daisy’s life will be held at JPeters in Murrells Inlet on Sunday, June 7 at 2:00 pm.
