Clyde L. Wilson, III, 82, passed away peacefully after a valiant battle with cancer on Thursday January 22, 2026. He was born on June 27, 1943 in Conway, South Carolina to the late Clyde L. Wilson, Jr. & Rubye Fullwood Wilson.
Clyde was a hardworking man with a heart of gold and an eye for detail. He proudly served our country in the United States Army for over 20 years. Following his well-deserved retirement, he went on to own and operate ‘A Blumen Affair Florist’ in Myrtle Beach where he made life-long friends and connections. In his free time, Clyde relished time spent making memories with his family and friends. Clyde will be deeply missed but always remembered for his bright, welcoming smile, his calm demeanor and the love he had for his country, business, friends and dear family.
Left to cherish Clyde’s memory are his adoring husband of over 47 years, Mr. Emil “Bud” Hornburg of Myrtle Beach; as well as a loving, extended family and many supportive friends, neighbors and patrons.
A Celebration of Clyde’s life will be held privately.
At the request of the family, please consider memorial contributions in lieu of flowers. Donations in Clyde’s name may be made to All 4 Paws, 708 Petigru Dr., Pawleys Island, SC 29585.
