Clyde Edgar Stewart III, 92, of Conway, South Carolina passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at his residence. He was a long-time resident of North Huntingdon, PA, and born on July 14, 1933, in McKeesport, PA, son of the late Clyde Edgar Stewart Jr. and Bessie A. Weinel.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Lester and Lawrence Stewart.
He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-nine years, Carrie Ellen Stewart of Conway, SC; Clyde Edgar Stewart IV and his wife, Kathy of Conway, SC, Craig E. Stewart of Pittsburgh, PA, Clark E. Stewart and his wife, Tina of North Huntington, PA, and Clair E. Stewart and his wife, Karin of New Orleans, LA; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and five nephews and their families.
Clyde graduated from McKeesport Vocational High School and went on to serve in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked as an electrician for many years to follow. He enjoyed spending time riding motorcycles and time spent with his family.
A celebration of Clyde’s life will be held at Langston Baptist Church in Conway, SC. on Feb. 21st at 2pm.
