Obituary
Clyde F. Doebler, age 74, formerly of Garnerville, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday May 5, 2023 at Veterans Victory House in Walterboro, SC.
Born in Saugerties, NY, he was the son of the late Lloyd Doebler and Evelyn Doebler. Clyde is a US Air Force veteran, loved to go fishing, was an avid fan of the New York Mets and Syracuse Basketball teams, enjoyed bird watching, and spending time with his grandchildren, Ruby, Michael James, Sadie, and Annabelle. In addition to his parents, Clyde is predeceased by his loving wife, Sue-Ann Doebler.
Survivors include his sons, Christopher Doebler (Patricia), of Chalfont, PA, and Erik Doebler (Julie) of Croton-On-Hudson, NY.
A mass will be held at St. Peter's in Haverstraw, NY on Saturday, May 27 at 10am followed by the burial at Loescher Veterans Cemetery in New Hempstead, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Clyde’s name to Stepping Stones Retreat, 781 Sunset Dr, Dayton, TN 37321.
