Christine Kimball, 78, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, formerly of Nutley and Belleville, New Jersey, passed away on February 21, 2026.
Born on December 3, 1947, in Newark, New Jersey, Christine was the beloved daughter of the late Donald and Lilyan Slader.
Chris was a fierce competitor in any game she played—she always played to win. She brought energy, determination, and spirit into everything she did. More than anything, she was genuine and generous, the kind of person everyone was grateful to know. She never met a stranger and had a remarkable way of forming connections with everyone she encountered.
Christine’s greatest joy in life was her grandchildren. She cherished every moment spent with them and took immense pride in her family.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Thomas Kimball; her sons, Patrick Kimball and his spouse Theresa Kimball, and Sean Kimball and his partner Sandi Herron; her beloved grandchildren, Sarah, Ethan, Jessica, and Thomas; her siblings, Patricia MacDonald and Richard Slader; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Lilyan Slader, and her siblings James Slader, Denna Cocroft, Gregory Slader, and Judith Tattoli.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org/
Christine will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.
