Cheryl Brown Obituary

Cheryl Perry Brown, born February 4, 1957, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She left this world far too soon on September 29, 2023.

Cheryl was born in Dover, Ohio and spent the first part of her life there, graduating from Dover High School in 1975. She eventually relocated to Myrtle Beach, SC where she started and raised her family. Cheryl loved the beach and remained there for the rest of her life.

Cheryl is survived by her loving husband Ricky Brown, whom she married on June 30, 1984, son Casey Brown, daughter Tiffany Brown and fiancé Chris Bluemke and their blended family of Kaleb, Kyrie, and Kayleigh Brown, and Alana and Christopher Bluemke, and son Eric Brown and his love Shannon Yates. She is also survived by her brothers and sister Mark and Cindi Perry, Matt Perry, and Sue and Mike Stokey, Ricky’s brother Mike Brown, and Ricky’s mother Alice Faye “Pat” Covington. Other survivors include nieces and nephews Melissa Kelly and fiancé Andy Wilson, Chad and Carie Perry, Mason Perry (and his mother Sheila), Brock and Katie Stokey, Beth and Shannon Hunt-Stokey, Chandler Brown, and Tristien Brown, and great-nephews and great-nieces Will, Madilyn, and Maeryn Kelly, Cooper and Lilly Stokey, and soon to arrive Cameron Perry.

Cheryl was preceded by her parents Delbert and Shirley Perry, father-in-law Sam Brown, great-niece Callaway Perry, and George Covington (Pat’s husband.)

As per Cheryl’s wishes private services will be arranged by her family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Cheryl’s final request was that no one fight over who gets possession of the ugly lamp!
