Charlie Thomas Obituary

Charlie R. Thomas, 80, of Pawleys Island, SC, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 11, 2021 at his home.

Charlie and his wife, the late Betty Sutphin Thomas had retired to Pawleys Island in 1998 from Bluefield after they both had long careers with Flowers Bakery. Charlie was a veteran having served 4 years in the US Air Force. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge at Pawleys Island- Lodge #900.

Charlie was preceded in death by his wife Betty and granddaughter Erinn White-Hollo.

Left to cherish his memory are his three daughters, Cathy White and husband David of Bristol, VA, Sherri Wright and husband Tim of Highland Village TX, and Teresa Baxley of Pawleys Island, SC. Also five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Following Charlie’s wishes there will be no service. A private family service will be held at a later date.
