Charles "Chucky" E. Timmons, Jr.

Charles “Chucky” E. Timmons, Jr., 47, passed away unexpectedly in Myrtle Beach on Wednesday April 20, 2022. He was born on February 18, 1975 in Georgetown, South Carolina.

Chucky proudly served our country in the United States Army. Following his honorable discharge, he went on to become a skilled and dedicated motorcycle mechanic for many years. When Chucky wasn’t enjoying the wind on his face, he could be found meticulously tending to his garden, specifically his roses. Chucky enjoyed working with his hands on his many projects and had a passion for old cars and rat rods. He was an avid Gamecocks fan. Above all else, Chucky loved his family with his whole heart- his children and wife were his entire world. Chucky will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for the love he had for his family, this passion for motorcycles, his infectious laughter and bright smile.

Left to cherish Chucky’s memory are his adoring wife of over 9 years, Nicole “Nikki” Barnes Timmons of Myrtle Beach; children, Nikita "Kita" Gardner and her husband, Hunter of Aynor, SC, Morgan "MoMo" Amerson of Myrtle Beach, Ryan Barnes of Myrtle Beach & Daulton "Daulty" Amerson of Myrtle Beach; brother, Louie Sherod Timmons and wife, Faith Belue Timmons, their children, Sadie, Carley and Robert; Chucky’s mother, Gwendolyn Chandler Timmons of Kingstree, SC; furbabies, Lucie, Natas, Shadow & Binks; as well as a large, loving, extended family and an army of supportive friends and neighbors.

Chucky is reunited in passing with his father, Charles E. Timmons, Sr.

A Celebration of Chucky’s life will be held on Monday April 25, 2022 at 8:00PM at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Highway, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. The family will gather to greet friends from 6:00PM until the time of service.
