Chuck was born August 19, 1943, in Queens, New York, to the late Margaret Ryan Zaionz. He was a devoted member of Belin United Methodist Church in Murrells Inlet, where he supported the Backpack Buddies program and served on the mission team and committee. His kindness, servant’s heart, and willingness to lend a helping hand touched many lives.
Chuck is survived by his beloved wife, Rachel B. Zaionz; his children: Larry Zaionz of San Francisco, CA; Cindy Zaionz Speer and husband JR of Sonoma, CA; Cheri McKinley of Wuppertal, Germany; Cortney Steele Walker and husband Brad of Shelby, NC; Zach Steele and wife Laura of Mechanicville, NY; and Seth Steele of Rolesville, NC. He is also remembered fondly by extended family and many dear friends.
