Charles Edward Moshier, age 82, passed away peacefully Saturday May 6, 2023 at his Surfside Beach residence.
Formerly of Middletown, NY, Charlie was the son of the late Edwin and Laura Moshier.
In his early years, Charlie enjoyed bowling. He was in many leagues at Middletown Lanes in New York. He also loved to spend time at Swinging Bridge Lake where he mastered barefoot waterskiing. He spent countless hours attending sporting events in support of his three daughters Janine, Jennifer, and Jamie. He could always be found on the sidelines of the soccer field or in the stands at basketball and volleyball games. He was very proud of his girls and their accomplishments on and off the athletic fields. Pop Pop loved to brag to anyone who would listen about his beloved grandchildren as well. In his later years, he moved south in search of warmer weather and new adventures. It wasn’t long before he met his loving partner, Suzi. They enjoyed listening to live music and eating out at the many restaurants throughout Myrtle Beach. Charlie loved having breakfast with his friends at various spots around Surfside Beach. When friends and family would visit, he took pleasure in giving them tours of Surfside Beach and surrounding towns.
