Charles Gillespie Obituary

Charles Michael Gillespie, 75, of Murrells Inlet, SC passed away on Monday, June 22, 2020 at his residence. He was born July 18, 1944 in Charleston, WV son of the late Clarence Thomas Gillespie and Daisy Annamarie Moore Gillespie.

He is survived by his loving wife, Loretta Gillespie of Murrells Inlet; daughter Amanda Holstein of Hurricane, WV; brother, C. Joseph Gillespie of Indian Rocks Beach, FL; and two grandchildren, Jared and Hannah Holstein.

Charles enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, putting together puzzles and tinkering with projects around the house.

There are no formal services planned.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made in Charles’ name to Crescent Hospice, 3959 Hwy 17 Bypass, Suite D, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
