Charles Richard Eason

Charles Richard Eason, age 71, of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away peacefully on Friday March 6, 2026.

Born in Gastonia, NC, Charles was the son of the late Lumas Linwood Eason and Frances Price Eason.

Charles graduated from UNC Charlotte in 1977 with a BS in Accounting.  He worked in the CPA industry as Chief Financial Officer for US Foods in Charlotte, NC and Little River Medical Center in Little River, SC.

In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his brother David Dexter Eason, his sister, Ann Eason Withers and by his best friend for 30 years, Bob Greene.

Survivors include his brother, Bruce Linwood Eason; sister, Gloria Eason Wynne and close friends Andy and Ellen Sabo.

In keeping with Charles’s wishes no services will be held at this time.
