Charles Herbert Beverly

Charles Herbert Beverly, 76, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Wednesday May 18, 2022 at his home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He was born on May 25, 1945 in Conway, South Carolina to the late Albert Beverly & Myrtle Dew Beverly.

Along with his parents, Charles is reunited in passing with his brother, Jimmy Beverly and sister, Myrtle Lee Larimore.

Charles was a hardworking man with a heart of gold. He was a skilled and dedicated electrician who proudly mastered the trade. In his free time, Charles enjoyed time spent fishing, hunting, and golfing. He relished working with his hands and tinkering with his many projects. Charles was a member of Seaside Community Church. Above all else, Charles loved his family with his whole heart. He will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish Charles’ memory are his adoring wife of over 54 years, Jeanne  R. Beverly of Myrtle Beach; their children, Michelle Shumpert (Rex) of Myrtle Beach & Shiela Daniels (Chris) of Summerville; grandchildren, Dylan Shumpert, Maggie Shumpert & Taylor Daniels; sister, Sandra Dunn (Randal) of Conway; brother, Terry Beverly (Sharon) of Myrtle Beach; as well as several nieces & nephews.

A Funeral Service in Celebration of Charles’ life will be held at 2:00PM on Friday May 20, 2022 at Seaside Community Church, 11540 Hwy 17 Bypass, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. The family will gather to greet friends, from 1:00PM until service time. Burial will immediately follow, in Ocean Woods Memorial Cemetery, 2408 S Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
