Cecile Anne Moreland, 70, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on April 11, 2021 at her home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was born on June 9, 1950 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Anne is reunited in passing with her beloved husband, Tony Moreland; father, Graham Armstrong; & brother, Earl Armstrong.
Anne was the first freshman ever at the University of Tennessee to be one of their “Beauties.” Besides being a great designer she was a beautiful person, inside and out. Cecile was a hardworking woman with a heart of gold. She had an eye for beauty and a knack for interior design and decorating. She ran the design center in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and the Kepley’s Fine Furniture Showroom in Myrtle Beach for five years. She was one of Myrtle Beach’s top designers. In her free time, Cecile loved making memories with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish Anne’s memory are her mother, Sarah M. Armstrong of Myrtle Beach; brother, Raymond Armstrong of Myrtle Beach; nieces, Christina Horton of Davie, FL, Amy Stadler of Garden City, SC and a great-niece, Anna Stadler of Garden City; great nephew, Grant Stadler of Garden City, SC; sisters in-law, Arden Armstrong on Murrells Inlet & Carol Cole of Charlotte, NC; several nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.
A Celebration of Anne’s life will be held 3:00pm Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
