Cathy L Gutheil-Jagger

Cathy L. Gutheil-Jagger, 62, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Saturday June 13, 2020 at her home in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. She was born on November 17, 1957 in Binghamton, New York to the late Louis & Margaret (Cobley) Gutheil.

Cathy was a hardworking woman with a heart of gold. She was a dedicated retail manager for many years until her well-deserved retirement. In her free time, Cathy loved making memories with her friends and family and enjoyed time spent in her garden. Her love and positivity was infectious and made it easy for Cathy to make friends. People would naturally gravitate towards her, for her calm perspective, optimistic demeanor her ability to find beauty in all things. A faithful Christian woman, Cathy found peace in knowing her Lord & Savior. She will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish Cathy’s memory are her beloved husband of 30 years, Mr. Todd S. Craigo of Murrells Inlet; brother, Lou Gutheil and his wife, Linda of Conway, sister, Judy Ferris and her husband, Bob of Chambersburg, PA & brother, David Gutheil and his wife, Heather of Greensboro, NC; Stepmother Suzann Gutheil of Stauton, VA; her adoring nieces and nephews, Joette Paugh of Binghamton, NY and Jeremy and Jean Ferris of Auburn, NY; Kris Richards of Centreville, OH; Beth Cresswell, Scotland, UK & Meagan Gutheil and Madison Gutheil both of Greensboro, NC; 6 great nieces, 6 great nephews and 1 great-great nephew, as well as countless furbabies, friends and supportive neighbors.

A Celebration of Cathy’s life will be held privately.
