Catherine A. Wright, 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 23, 2021 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Conway, South Carolina. She was born on April 16, 1932 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to the late Gerald S. & Mildred Thornton Mundle.
Along with her parents, Cathy is reunited in passing with her beloved husband, Harold “Bud” Wright; & her brother, Gerald “Jack” Mundle.
Cathy was a dedicated real estate agent for many years. She had a zest for life and enjoyed time spent with family and friends. Following retirement, Cathy and Bud moved to a number of parts of the country to experience and enjoy new places and to meet new friends. They first lived in Connecticut and eventually moved to Otis, Massachusetts, next to Pahrump, Nevada and finally settled in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. Through their marriage, they enjoyed traveling, especially trips to England, Scotland & Ireland. Cathy also enjoyed dinning out, shopping, and making time to stop at unique places along the way. She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of getting to know her.
Left to cherish Cathy’s memory are her niece, Christine Rich of Plainville, CT; nephews, Douglas Mundle of Naugatuck, CT & Mark Mundle of North Haven, CT; as well as many other nieces and nephews- from Bud’s family.
