Carol Jean (Lexer) Vincek

Carol Jean Vincek, 81, passed away peacefully with her loving husband by her side on Wednesday January 6, 2021 at her home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was born on August 21, 1939 in Buffalo, New York to the late Carl Lexer & Verna Hager Lexer.

Along with her parents, Carol is reunited in death with her daughters, Carrie & Tammy as well as her sister, Joan Schrader.

Carol was a well-educated woman with a drive to help others. Her passion for learning and guiding, lead her to be a well-respected school teacher for Clarence Middle School. Carol proudly retired after 35 years of dedication to the school. Following her retirement, Carol was able to enjoy the finer things in life. In her free time, Carol relished spending time with her family and making memories with friends. She will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish Carol’s memory are her adoring and beloved husband of 51 years, Thomas Vincek of Myrtle Beach; as well as many nieces, nephews and many supportive friends and past students.

A celebration of Carol’s life will be held on Wednesday January 13, 2021 at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Highway, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 from 1:00PM until 3:00PM.
