Carol L Carruba

Carol L. Carruba, 81, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2026, with her loving husband by her side.

Born on August 20, 1944, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Carol was the beloved daughter of the late George Trautman and Mercedes Gallagher.

Carol was a devoted wife, a kind and compassionate soul, and someone who brought warmth and love to those around her. She especially enjoyed playing golf, a pastime in which she excelled and took great pride. More than anything, Carol will be remembered for her gentle spirit, generous heart, and the love she shared with family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory include her devoted husband, Samuel "Sam" Carruba; her two stepsons, William Carruba (Lorain) and James Carruba (Gina); along with extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Carol's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
