Carl Bearens Miller, Jr.

Carl Bearens Miller, Jr., 69, passed away peacefully Monday May 1, 2023, at his home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with his loving family by his side. He was born on November 17, 1953 in Charleston, South Carolina to the late Carl B. Miller, Sr. & Florence Enwright Miller.

Along with his parents, Carl is reunited in passing with his sister, Marjorie Miller Grant.

Carl was a hardworking man with a heart of gold. He was the proud owner and operator of Custom Fabrics Screen Printing & Embroidery for many years. In his free time, Carl was an active member of Fraternity Omega Psi Phi Inc. Above all else, Carl loved his family with his whole heart. He will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish Carl’s memory is his adoring wife, Elaine McDowell Miller of Myrtle Beach; sons, Carl Enwright Miller & Mark Adam Miller, both of Myrtle Beach; brother, Thomas (Andrea) Enwright Miller of Savannah, GA; sister, Edith Clyde Miller of Charleston, SC; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends, neighbors and patrons.

A Celebration of Carl’s life will be held on Thursday May 11, 2023 at 2:00PM at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Highway, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. The family will gather to greet friends from 1:00PM until the time of service. Burial will be held immediately following the service, with procession to Ocean Woods Memorial Cemetery, 2408 S Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
