Brian P. Donovan

Brian P. Donovan, 44, of Myrtle Beach, passed away peacefully Friday, June 7, 2018 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.

Born in Lakeland, OH, Brian was the son of the late Richard Thomas Donovan and Kathleen Marie Donovan. Brian served his country proudly in the United States Army joining soon after September 11th on November 1, 2001 because “Freedom isn’t Free!”

Survivors include his daughter, Tyler Donovan; daughter, Brylee Donovan; daughter, Shyanne Kathleen Donovan; Michelle Donovan; brother, Joe Donovan; Rob Penna, who was like a son to Brian; and granddaughter, Basil Grace Penna, who meant the world to her Pop-Pop; Richard and Alesha Flores, whom Brian considered his second parents; Rick. Chris and Alan Flores, who were like his brothers.

A Celebration of Brian’s Life will be held 6:00 PM Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Burroughs Funeral Home in Murrells Inlet.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to all those who stuck with and supported Brian thru troubled times.
