Brenda Ward Obituary

Brenda Baker Ward, 81 of Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of Rock Hill, SC, died Saturday, October 21, 2023. She was born on September 29, 1942, in Charlotte, NC, to the late Hall Garren Baker and Marie Clark Baker.

Brenda loved the beach life and enjoyed riding around in her golf cart. She cherished her family members and treasured the time she spent with them.

In addition to her parents, Brenda is predeceased by her husband, Jimmy Lee Ward, Sr.

Survivors include, her children, Jimmy Lee (Cara) Ward, Jr., Ronnie (Kare) Ward, Connie (Dan) Taylor, all of Rock Hill, SC; Sister, Sandra Baker (Steve) Burris of Lincolnton, NC, Dare Baker (Dan) Ward of Six Mile, SC, along with 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Promedica Hospice and all her friends at the beach who looked after her.

A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held privately.
