Beverly A. Clancy

Beverly A. Clancy of Murrells Inlet passed away on February 22, 2021 at the age of 81.

Born in Paterson, New Jersey, she graduated from William Paterson University and spent 14 years teaching fourth grade in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey.  Mrs. Clancy was an avid reader and supported reading programs for the underprivileged.  Each year she enjoyed creating hand-made Christmas cards for over a hundred relatives and friends.

She is survived by her husband, William M. Clancy; a son, Michael J. Clancy of New York City; his wife, Adriana, and their daughters, Ellie and Olivia.

Mr. and Mrs. Clancy moved to Murrells Inlet in 1997 and resided in Wachesaw Plantation East.

The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to Miss Ruby’s Kids in Beverly’s name.
