Anthony D. Carangelo

Anthony D. Carangelo, 33, of Murrells Inlet, SC, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. He was born May 27, 1988 in Edison, NJ, son of Anthony A. Carangelo and LuAnn Fortenboher Carangelo.

In addition to his parents of Murrells Inlet, SC, he is survived by a brother, Dominick Carangelo (Jessica Lamb) of Surfside Beach; two half-sisters, Dawn Marie Carangelo of Summerhill, PA, and ToniAnn Carangelo of St. Pete, FL; three nephews, Andrew, Camdyn and Dominick, Jr.; one niece, Tiffany Marie; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dominick Carangelo; and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Fortenboher.

Anthony enjoyed many things in life, especially music, playing the guitar and the piano, and he was a big time gamer.

A funeral mass will be held 10:00am Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 542 Cypress Avenue, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 with Father Ed Fitzgerald officiating.
