Annie (Tanner) Brady

Annie Tanner Brady, age 82 of Mallory Avenue passed away November 14, 2025, at her home in Murrells Inlet, SC. Ann was born on May 9, 1943, to the late Thomas James and the late Lila Rowe Tanner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving and much missed husband Troy Odale Brady, her brothers; Thomas James (TJ), Ollie (Bud), James Lee, Curtis, and sister Virginia Mae Tanner.

She is survived by her children Michael W. Brady and wife Casi of Murrells Inlet and Phyllis Brady Farmer and husband Richard of Litchfield; grandchildren, Austyn Brady Smith and her husband Zann, Andrew Farmer and his wife Emily and Elizabeth Farmer Bryant and her husband Philip; great grandchildren Addison, Lucy, Troy, Richard Fischer and Eaddy James and a large extended family.

Ann proudly served as a military spouse for over 30 years, she worked in the State of NC with the State Ports Authority and private freight companies to bring more trade partners to the state. After retirement she was co-founder and co-owner along with her daughter of Southern Elegance, an interior design and custom workroom company.

Ann enjoyed her church, spending time with her family, decorating and remodeling projects. The personification of a true Southern Lady.

A lifelong member of Belin, Ann's celebration of life service will be held at St. John's Outdoor Chapels at Belin Memorial United Methodist Church November 20, 2:00pm. Family and friends are invited back to "the property" at 610 Mallory Avenue after the service

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be made in Ann's name to Help 4 Kids/ Backpack Buddies.
