Ann Frances Gevers

Ann Frances Gevers, 76, passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday, June 8, 2019 at her Murrells Inlet residence with her loving husband by her side.

A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Ann was born in Newark, NJ, the daughter of the late Michael and Elsie Cantalupo Kaplan. A graduate of East Side High School and certified financial book keeper, Ann was an avid conversationalist, enjoyed attending in her luncheon group, a gifted shopper, bingo player and hobbyist. Her kind and gentle ways won her many friends.

Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years, Bill Gevers; sons, William “Bill” Gevers and his wife Angela of Mt. Pleasant; Robert “Bob” Gevers and his wife Jennifer of New Jersey; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Matthew, Caroline, Colin, Donovan, Emma, and Sophia; and one brother, Michael Kaplan of New Jersey.

A Celebration of Ann’s Life will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
