Amy Shannon (Shay) Brenner

Amy Shannon (Shay) Brenner Age 56 gave up her spirit after a 1 ½ year battle with Ovarian Cancer on May 12th, 2019. When Jesus gave up his spirit he said “It Is Finished”!

Shannon says “It’s Only Just Begun, I’m Singing With The Saints and

I’ll be waiting for each and everyone of you in Heaven, If you don’t know the Lord Jesus, You ought to”. Shannon is Predeceased by: her Mother: Naomi Lucille Simmons, her Father: Boyce Carrigan, and her sister: Lisa Jill Carrigan.

She is survived by her two sisters Cina Carrigan of Indian Land, SC and Holly Ferguson of Myrtle Beach, SC. and the Love of her Life - Joe Anthony of Myrtle Beach, SC.

Shannon was a Cosmetologist in the Myrtle Beach area for 33 years.

She had a great love of animals and nature.

Shannon who was greatly loved by many, will be greatly missed.

The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to The American Cancer Society and The Alzheimer’s Association.Thank you to all of her friends who helped us get through this most difficult time. By respecting her final wishes she will have a private cremation. There will be visitation at Burroughs Funeral Home in Murrell Inlet, SC on Saturday May 18th, 2019 starting at 3pm and memorial service at 4pm.
