Allan Eugene Niziol “Last Dance Al”
Allan Eugene Niziol passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023, at the age of 80, with his devoted wife Kay Kennedy by his side. Born May 19th, 1942, in Hamilton, Ontario, he was the son of the late Helen Morrison (Marshall) and predeceased by his brother Lloyd.
Loved father of Kimberlee (Greg), Debee (Mike) and Kristee; dear Grandpa of Jakob (Chelsea), Benjamin, Ethan, Samuel, Reid, Logan, Rachael, and Ashlee. Allan will also be dearly missed by Kay’s brothers, Joe (Janet), and Marty (Lynne) and their children Jolie, Justin, Katelin, & Kody. He will be forever loved and remembered by his extended family and friends.
Allan loved golfing and living at Wachesaw Plantation for the last 30+ years and he never left the golf course without finding at least a handful of golf balls that would find their way into his wife’s golf bag.
At the tender age of 14, Allan was such an accomplished accordion player, he was tasked with teaching others to conquer the squeezebox. No one could touch his talent - he loved playing the accordion and piano with the gift to play in any key his daughters wanted to sing in.
Allan also relished beating his family at backgammon and gin, sitting on the beach and enjoyed spending time with his loyal fur companions - Keeta, Pepper & Shamee.
Allan was a professional and successful businessman who could sell anything.
Kay and his daughters would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses at Tidelands Waccamaw Hospital Radiology Department for making him feel so special and to Gentiva Hospice for their compassionate support in Allan’s last few days.
There will be a private interment at Allan’s final resting place in Canada, alongside his mother and brother.
