Obituary
Alfredo Torsiello, age 93, a resident of Murrells Inlet for 20 years and formerly of Fairfield, NJ, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023, at his residence.
Fred was preceded in death by his beloved wife Helen. They were married 72 years. He was also predeceased by his son Alfredo Jr.
Fred will be remembered for his tremendous love for his family. He was kind and friendly to all he knew. He loved the warm weather and especially gardening in his yard. And he loved his music! Fred was also an avid bowler well into his eighties, until Covid stopped the world. He worked in the supermarket industry throughout his life.
Fred will be greatly missed by his children: Joyce Quimby (Dennis), Robert Torsiello, Gina Pezza, and daughter-in-law Donna Torsiello. Grandpa/Poppy will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Jennifer Dyches (Chris), Nicholas Torsiello (Laura), Lauren Quimby (fiance Dennis Preztos), Christina Pezza, Anthony Pezza; and his great-grandchildren Dominic, Patrick, Stella, Lucia, Mason and Jacob, who all brought such joy to his life.
Services will be private.
