Alfred Joseph Graziano

Alfred Joseph Graziano, 83, passed away peacefully on Monday April 20, 2026 while at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. He was born on November 9, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Joseph & Edith Carter Graziano.

Along with his parents, Joseph is reunited in passing with his father in-law, O. Bartran Hidey & mother in-law, Bessie Hidey; and his great nephew, Nicholas Stephens.

Joseph proudly served our country in the United States Army National Guard. Following his honorable separation from the military, Joseph continued to work for the government and retired as an inspector for Westinghouse and Northrop Grumman. In his free time, Joseph was an avid golfer. He also enjoyed Radio Control Airplanes, attending sports car races and especially enjoyed poker games with the guys. Above all else, Joseph loved his family with his whole heart. He will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish Joseph’s memory are his adoring wife and best friend of over 66 years and married for 60 years, Mrs. Doris E. Hidey Graziano of Murrells Inlet; their precious puppy, Daisy;  niece, Shawn Stephens of Severn, MD; Jennifer Mollohan of Severn, MD; sister in-law, Rebecca Stephens of Severn, MD; great nephew, Stephen Mollohan; great-great nephew Kaysin Stephens also of Severn, MD; as well as loving extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Joseph’s life will be held privately.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to wonderful, caring nurses and doctors at Waccamaw Hospital. Your kindness, care and compassion have been greatly appreciated.
