Alexandria M Rios

Alexandria Michelle Rios, 21, of Surfside Beach, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday February 4, 2020 at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was born on September 25, 1998 in West Chester County, New York.

Alex is welcomed into the kingdom of heaven by her mother, Nicole Torhan & grandmother, Joann Torhan.

Alex had a free spirit and heart of gold. She found peace and comfort while horseback riding and being in the stables. Above all else, Alex adored her daughter and loved her family with her whole heart. Alex will forever be remembered for her bright smile and infectious laughter.

Left to cherish Alex’s memory are her beloved daughter, Elianna and her father, Damani Went of Surfside Beach; her grandfather and caretaker, Michael Torhan; sister, Adrianna Rios; brother, Nick Rios; father, Alberto Rios; grandmother, Sylvia Davis; aunts, Melissa Rios and Michelle Gray; uncle, Michael Torhan; as well as a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

A celebration of Alex’s life will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
