Alec Anthony Cassillo

Alec Anthony Cassillo, 32, of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Long Island, NY passed away on November 22, 2022 at his parents' residence in Myrtle Beach. He was born May 15, 1990 in Mineola, NY, son of James William Cassillo and Joanne Kennedy Cassillo. 

In addition to his parents of Myrtle Beach, SC, he is survived by two brothers, Chase Cassillo of Dallas, TX, and Kieran Cassillo (Fabiola Ochoa) of Chicago, IL; three sisters, Sienna Cassillo of Denver, CO, Linnea Cassillo of Stony Brook, NY and Laiken Cassillo of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandmothers, Irene Marie Cassillo of Massapequa, NY & Bette Lee Kennedy of Clarks Summit, PA; as well as many extended family members and many friends.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Shawn Michael Cassillo; paternal grandfather, Alphonse Cassillo & maternal grandfather, Michael Kennedy.

Alec enjoyed spending time doing ministry work, praying, working on his relationship with God, caring for his patients, dining out, cooking, working out, surfing, snowboarding, and above all spending time with his family and friends. 

The family will receive friends from 7:00-10:00pm Friday, November 25, 2022 at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. A service will be held that night, the time will be announced when arrangements are finalized. 

The family has requested that memorial contributions in Alec’s name be made to Calvary House for Men, 540 SW 2nd Place, Pompano Beach, FL 33060.
