Adam Bower Obituary

Adam Michael Bower, 48, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Born on August 25, 1977, in Portsmouth, Ohio, he was the son of Connie Sue Fyffe Bower and the late Robert Craig Bower.

Adam was a hardworking man with a keen eye for detail. He spent many years in construction, where he built lifelong friendships and mastered his trade. A passionate musician and avid guitar player, Adam extended his creativity into designing and crafting unique custom guitars. He was a gifted artist who excelled in painting and drawing, and he recently developed a special interest in calligraphy. Above all, Adam loved his family with his whole heart. He will be deeply missed and remembered for his quick wit, bright smile, and the profound love he shared with those around him.

In addition to his mother, Connie Sue Bower of Myrtle Beach, Adam is survived by his brothers: Robert "Rob" Bower of Augusta, GA; Jason Bower of Myrtle Beach; and Nicholas "Nick" Aaron Bower of Myrtle Beach. He also leaves behind his adoring nieces and nephews, Holden Howard, Noah Bower, Jackson "Jack" Bower, Connor Bower, Parker Bower, and Julianna Bower; his great-niece, Amelia Howard; and many supportive friends and neighbors.

A celebration of Adam’s life will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider passing along an act of kindness. A smile, a phone call to a loved one, or a simple kind gesture can mean the world to someone.
