Yvonne Rocke

Yvonne Rocke, 79, of Pawleys Island, SC passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at her residence. She was born February 26, 1940 in Bronx, New York daughter of the late Alfonso Chumiso and Marie Nielsen Chumiso.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sister, Gertrude.

Survivors include her loving husband, Stanley Rocke of Pawleys Island; one son, Alex; one daughter, Nicole; a brother, Burns; and one granddaughter.

Yvonne was an active member of Precious Blood Catholic Church. She retired as a public school teacher.

A celebration of Yvonne’s life will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church, 1633 Waverly Road, Pawleys Island, SC 29585. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Nassau Knolls Cemetery Park in Port Washington, New York.

The family requests that memorial contributions in Yvonne’s name be made to Precious Blood Catholic Church.
