William "Bill" Oram-Smith Obituary

William “Bill” Harold Oram-Smith, 77, of Murrells Inlet, SC passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at his residence. He was born June 09, 1941 in Baltimore, MD, son of the late Harold Oram-Smith and Evelyn Cash Owings Oram-Smith.

He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Oram-Smith of Murrells Inlet; daughters, Robin Cushing Oram-Smith of St. Augustine, FL, Rebecca Christine Oram-Smith of Virginia Beach, VA, Mandy Owings Oram-Smith and her husband William Christopher Sargent of Virginia Beach, VA and stepdaughter Ashely Marie Safrit of Monroe, NC; one brother, Jeffery Oram-Smith and wife Sherry of Colorado Springs, CO; granddaughter Nicole Madison Sargent and step grandchildren, Madison Barwick, John Aston Barwick, Stella Marie Hickman.

Bill retired from Exxon Mobile. He proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was an avid golfer.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held 1:00pm Friday, January 04, 2018 at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made in Bill’s name to the Grand Strand Humane Society, 3241 Mr. Joe White Ave, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
