Wanda Branch Obituary

Wanda Gail Branch, 73, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday July 18, 2019 at her home in Surfside Beach, South Carolina. She was born on March 12, 1946 in Gastonia, North Carolina to the late Thomas H. Steelman & Doris (Frye) Steelman.

Along with her parents and Stepfather Leonard Bagwell, Wanda is preceded in passing by her son, Jeffery Eugene Branch.

Wanda had an eye for beauty. In her free time, she could be found tending her gorgeous flowers. Wanda’s true love in life was her husband and her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who got to know her.

Left to cherish Wanda’s memory are her beloved husband of 56 years, Mr. Buddy E. Branch of Surfside Beach; their children, Crystal Branch of Murrells Inlet, Lisa Branch and her significant other, Wayne Brazzill of Surfside Beach & Dana Branch of Belmont, NC; her 7 adoring grandchildren & 14 great-grandchildren; her brother, John Leonard Bagwell; sister in-laws Delores Jean Connor and Pam Bagwell. A very special Aunt, Rebecca Cole; as well as a large, loving extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

A celebration of Wanda’s life will be held privately and at a later date.
