Tessa Jeanine Johnson Tyler

Tessa “Jeanine” Johnson Tyler, 49, of Loris, passed away peacefully Monday June 24, 2019.

Born in Conway, SC, Jeanine was the daughter of Betty D. Johnson and the late Boyd C. Johnson.  Jeanine loved sewing, cooking, working in her garden and decorating.  But most of all she loved being a mother which always came first. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her fraternal grandparents, Cable and Nina Pearl Johnson and her maternal grandparents, Shorty and Bead Doyle.

Survivors include her mother, Betty Johnson of the home; son, Harley Wayne Tyler of Loris and his father, Barry Wayne Tyler of Loris; sister, Cindy Abernathy (Tracy) of Conway; niece, Lindsey Stanley (Terry) of Conway; nephew, Jarrett Lee of Loris; close cousins, Robin Dorsey Sessoms and Heidi Martin Tyler all of Loris; special friends, Julie Neumann, Marla Cannon and Jimmy Johnson.

The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to extended family and friends for their continued prayers and support.

A Celebration of Jeannine’s Life will be held 2:00 PM Sunday July 7, 2019 at Gurley Baptist Church in Loris, SC.
