Teresa Diane Cumbie

Teresa Diane Cumbie, 63, passed away peacefully  Sunday, June 2, 2019 at her Myrtle Beach residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born in West Columbia, Mrs. Cumbie was the daughter of the late, Marshall Aldridge and Lucy Long Aldridge.  She was a former member of State Street Baptist Church in Cayce, SC, and attended  Socastee Pentecostal Church.  Mrs. Cumbie was a former secretary for the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department and the Myrtle Beach Police Department. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her granddaughter, Kaleigh Diana Cumbie; her brother, Sammy Aldridge and her sister, Betty Wolfe.

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Henry L. Cumbie, Sr of Myrtle Beach; sons, Henry Cumbie, Jr of Myrtle Beach ; Bradley Brown and his wife Johanna of Rock Hill, SC; Joe K. Corley and his wife Linda of Lexington, SC; grandchildren, Alexander and Mikale; great grandchildren, Raegan and Wyatt.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 6:00 PM Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Burroughs Funeral Home in Murrells Inlet.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
